I need some help. Just received my device and noticed the screen moves when touched with the stylus. You can actually compress it ever so slightly. It is almost as if there is a screen protector or another "layer" if you will. Is this normal for this device? Everything seems to work fine. Also, when I received the 2415, it already had an 82% charge on the main battery. I thought this was quite odd. Has anyone ran across anything like what I have mentioned here? Thanks so much.

it's hard to say anything about the screen without trying it... but I'd head to the store (any store) just to see if another device's screen felt the same way.

as for the battery charge, I don't know about the 82% charge but it IS normal for the battery to be partially charged.

the first time you use the device, you're supposed to put the battery in... use the device until the battery is completely drained and then charge the device for a good 12-15 hours (do not use it while it's charging the first time).

Hi nationalscout. I think the screen compression you describe is normal. Same for the battery. i don't think they are shipped completely drained.

Yeah my hx4700 came with about 60% charge...I just drained it down and then gave it a good charge the next day (so hard to do when you've just rec'd your toy )
