Hx2755 -Bluetooth won't turn off
I've had an issue with Bluetooth that will not stay off when turned off without a soft reset. My ROM should be the latest as I upgraded/downgraded to WM5 back to WM3. Anyone had this issue?

My 2750 did the up and down grade, I have no problems to switch off bluetooth.

Backup all your files, perform a hard reset and reflash your ROM that only contains WM2K3SE. That should do the trick.

I'm not entirely sure, but the downgrade must have kept some "memories" of WM5 and conflicted with the BT application. Again, that's only a hypothesis.

Thanks for the insight..don't think I am ready to do a hard reset..those never go well for me..takes days to get my Pocket PC back to where it was..and am still recovering from the upgrade/downgrade fiasco!!!!

Maybe try the following: reinstall WM5, soft-reset, stop all running programs and perform the downgrade again. This might uninstall everything and solve some of the conflicts with BT.

The reason I suggest this is because my PPC wouldn't turn off due to ActiveSync not properly closed or its operation wasn't carried out properly until the end leaving some memory in the RAM that caused problems. It might be the case with you too. It does not hurt to try it again if it does not require you to hard-reset.

Good luck, I'm running out of ideas.
