I have removed Funk Software, Odyssey from my HP hx2790b and now I am getting a Notification Error window that states:

Cannot execute \SD Card\Program Files\Funk Software\Odyssey Client\odClientCE.exe

Any suggestions on how to fix this particular software removal?

Thanks Julie, but there was no shortcut for Odyssey in the \Windows\Startup folder on the device. The above procedure seemed to work for me. Alot of the advice from Googling the answer seems to center around getting 3rd party apps to remove the registry entries. I am sure that would have solved my issue also.

Just thought I would post the answer here in this forum to help other HP Ipaq users.

Delete the Odyssey shortcut in the \Windows\Startup folder and this message should go away.

On the axims to get rid of oddysey client you place a blank exe file in the place of it after you delete the original exe. That way you get back 2megs of precious main memory.

This user's pocket pc is an IPAQ not an Axim. IPAQs do not have Odyssey already installed, but users can install it from the CD that comes with the pocket pc. If the user then decides to uninstall the software, a shortcut is left in the \windows\startup folder.

I have installed and uninstalled this application several times from my Pocket PCs and removing the shortcut has always done the trick for me.

Oh, its such a pain for us axim users, i didnt know if it was the same on ipaqs.
