I have an ipaq 2795, and I was wondering if it is possible without using special software to display unicode text in a notepad like program.
Are there special fonts needed? and if so where can I get them and how do I set things up?
Any advice would be welcome! :)

I don't know too much about this, having used only english on the pda, but when developing applications for pocket pc's unicode is the norm. Embedded Visual C++ has built in functions for unicode as well as conversion functions to single byte text.

The author of PHM Registry Editor seems to have a unicode capable notepad utility in PHM Pocket PC Power Toys.

Thanks for the info, but I specifically want to be able to display unicode English TEXT in a program I own which is programed in Visual Basic for the PPC, it will only display English ANSI code, and I was wondering if adding the correct fonts to the PPC would enable unicode?
