Hi,

I have recently purchased my first PDA and I love it.

However, I got tired browsing the web and searching for answers to questions that arrises every day :)

Found this forum and I hope someone will help be to become an advanced PDA user.

First, question I have is downloading updates (if any). I check HP web site and found that there is "HP iPAQ hx2000 Pocket PC Series ROM Update". Do I need it?

Also, the first problem that I have is - I cannot browse shared folders on LAN. PDA tells me to setup vpn if I browse using UNC. If I use IP address - it tells me that network device cannot be accessed.

Any help and ideas would be greatly appreciated.

If you are not having problems with your device that a ROM update addresses, then I recommend you leave the ROM as it is. Also, when you review ROM updates, make sure you are looking at the ROM update that matches your device exactly, the language on your device precisely, and the OS of the device. [The hx2750 could be running windows mobile 2003se or WM5.0.]
