Hi. It's been a while since I have been on here. I had just about given up on my iPAQ when I decided to pull it out of retirement and give it another try. I was wondering if there were any new fixes or updates for my hx2495. I retired it because I got tired of the thing always freezing, causing me to soft reset. It seemed more of a pain to use than it should be. Anyway, I checked HP's site and didn't see anything that stood out. Here's what I have....Hx2495, WM5 5.1.1702 build 14366.1.0.1.

Anyone have any suggestions or new info? Thanks.

Anyone have any info? It's too bad WM5 doesn't have an online update feature.

Have you updated your IPAQ with the updates on HP's website?

New to ipaq....how do you download updates? Realistically, how often should I update?

If you are having the problems addressed by the ROM, then you should consider installing the ROM update. If you aren't having problems, there's really no reason to install a ROM.
