Problem while updating bios on 2795

Hi...

As you see in the title, I tried to update the BIOS of my iPAQ 2795 and by mistake my son moved the ipaq and the synchronization lost so the update didnt finish.

Now the only thing that the pocket pc does is to show that is doing a reset by it stops at the end without getting into the today page.

I dont know what to do to fix this problem.

I kindly ask everyone who know how to fix this problem to reply and give me his opinion.

Try the following methods:
1) Try updating the ROM again (I assume you already did this)
2) Perform a clean reset (not a hard nor soft reset) and update the ROM image again
3) Let your device's battery completely discharge first. This means that when you connect your device to the AC adapter, the Power LED will NOT blink until for about 15 minutes. Then, perform a clean reset and update the ROM image.
4) Someone with higher skills should help you...

i agree, kinda...

try updateing again, sometimes the rom dosnt work out like it should after an upgrade.

there should be no need to perform a clean reset (sets to default registry settings). remove any media installed (cf or sd cards) and a soft reset should be sufficient.

NEVER let your battery completely discharge... this has been discussed here and in many other forums. doing so will permanantly decrease your batteries capacity.

if your device continues to loop and not get into the today screen, you may have to take other measures
