I notice that there is no mention of an available high-capacity battery on the H-P website at

I can't live without one, and it would have to be able to be used with an outboard keyboard. What do you think the chances are that one _won't_ be offered?

I also note that neither of the two outboard keyboards is said to accommodate the PDA in landscape mode. I sure hope they've thought this through thoroughly.

I read somewhere that there is a large capacity 3800 mah battery. How much does this cost? However, I may be looking at one for the 5000 series. But, I am 98.2321% sure that I saw it for the 4705.

Marvelous! Many thanks. The keyboard is the lesser problem, as third-party vendors seem likely to step in if H-P decides not to offer one.
