hx4700 and GSM/GPRS CF card?
Anyone tried this CF card yet? I've been shopping for the last 2 months for a Phone Edition Pocket PC, but can't seem to find anything with the spec's I like yet.

I think a hx4700 and this card would probably satisfy my rampant cravings for such a device. It would be perfect if the native bluetooth of the hx4700 would work with a bluetooth headset for voice calls without any extra hardware.

What do you think ?

I believe Microsoft has included profiles for BT headphones/headsets in WM2003SE. I haven't personally tried the card (especially on a HX4700... I wish!), but that idea is great. Which cell service will the card support? Any, or just certain companies?

At first I found only the GSM / GPRS unlocked universal one from convergant technologies (www.convergentech.com).

5 minutes ago I just found that GROWELL USA is offering an 1xRTT adapter for Sprint PCS Vision networks. This is most likely the one that I would be using.

So far no 1x EV-DO or 1x EV-DV cards but you wont find networks that support them yet anyways (verizon has 1x EV-DO in DC and San Diego for testing).

I hear that 1x EV-DO should be deployed near the years and by Verizon and that Sprint will deploy its faster 1x EV-DV networks early next year.

These all backward compatible with 1xRTT but 1xRTT is not forward compatible with them.
