Will we be able to surf the net faster with the HX4705?
I think that surfing the net is not too fast even if you have high speed connection. I guess the limitation is due to the browser and the processor. Now that the new ipaq has 620 mhz, wouldn't we be able to surf faster (meaning the the webpages will display faster)?

I really think it will be a lot faster. Besides having a faster processor, the other parts of the iPaq are supposed to be much faster as well. For example, if I use Nyditot and set my screen resolution to 480x640, my iPaq is really slow. I'm sure the new iPaq will be so fast that it will be able to handle the higher resolution much better than my iPaq 3835 and the other older ipaqs can handle a simple QVGA. However, I could be wrong. This is just what I think will happen. We'll wait to see what other people have to say as well...

Im currently playing with an h4350 (400mhz) from work and I have no complaints about web browsing with Wifi. Even with the new flash player plug in or streaming video.

Good point HX4705 - Cyber Guy, what iPaq do you currently have? I have a 3835 and am disappointed with the speed, but it is only 206 MHz and has slower internal components.

He he he, guess what, I have never owned a pocket PC before but I am going to get the ipaq HX4705 once it is available.

Currently I have a Sony Clie TH55. Yes, I am a Palm man for 3 years. It is time to try something new since Sony has pulled out of the Clie market.

Besides, I love the look and speed of the HX4705.

I love gadgets, and I often get the best of the best :-)

I had a 400mhz 5455..It was pretty good on surfing.

Usualy theres more than just proc speed..video, ram, cpu, plugins, os, apps, wi-fi, arch. all play a part.

Let us know how it does
