where to store files
i'm a bit confused about where to store files. between the memory, ipaq file store & cf or sd where exactly should i store different types of files / programs? i ask because after i migrated 5 years worth of palm data to the 4700 i quickly noticed a slight degrade in performance. so i'm looking for something like best practices for file & program stoage. does anyone have a link where this is discussed in detail?

A lot depends on the program you're installing. Games and music go to the SD card on my ppc. Most system enhancing programs require being loaded in main memory. Some examples are Resco Explorer, Pocket Mechanic, etc. You can try various combinations and see what gets you the best performance.
