Bluetooth keyboard w/ mouse?
Has anyone seen a Bluetooth keyboard with a mouse? I would love to find a way to use the 4700's NavPoint cursor mode remotely while using a Bluetooth keyboard.

Perfect! Thanks for the link.

Bluetooth is new to me. It appears that you can have more than one bluetooth accessory operating simultaneously. Is this correct? Is there anything I should be aware of before I blow $200 on a keyboard and mouse? Is anyone currently using a Thinkoutside Bluetooth mouse and keyboard combo with the 4700?

Yes - simultanious action is allowed with bluetooth.

Thinkoutside makes great products, and from what I hear the BT mouse and keyboard are top notch. It can even be used on you're desktop also.

Before you go blow your money on the BT setup. Rumor has it that the BT Mouse on the 4700 is buggy. Someone correct me if my information is not up to date, but I wouldn't want a newbie to get blindsided.

The way I understand it, TO is working on an updated driver, but hasn't released it yet. Like I said, my info could be outdated, but it would be prudent to ask them before placing your order.

I have heard similar things but you should be aware that I am probably going to be writing a review for the ThinkOutside products (both of them) and it shouldn't be more than a few days so if you would like to wait until the reviews are complete you could, but otherwise, I bet they are good products.

What I have heard is that the mouse buttons don't worh with the HX4700 but they are going to release new drivers very soon to fix this problem.

Don't get me wrong, TO is a good company. I have a Stowaway for my 3670 and it is bulletproof. No complaints. Timely driver updates. Worked right out of the box.

I chose not to order their BT keyboard for my 4705, but that has nothing to do with customer satisfaction, but rather the fifth row of keys for numbers on top. I will, most likely, order their BT mouse when they get the drivers ironed out.

Check out the Brando keyboard. It has the row of numbers and is like 33% cheaper and I wrote a long review for it at my website. Check it out! I like it but realize that the keys are smaller than the TO brand because they added the number row. I also have a stowaway for my 3835 that is probably the same as yours (not ir)

Stowaway BT Keyboard
I just picked one up the other day, and it works great and rock solid! I'll admit that the number keys being integrated with the top row of letter keys is somewhat weird, but I love the size and got use to the numbers that way!

I have the TO mouse and with the new drivers it works great with the 4700. I don't have a keyboard, however, so the jury is still out in regards to keyboard and mouse working simultaneously.
