CF & HX4700 Buy.com - crazy
I don't know about anyone else but I have been watching Buy.com for the Sandisk 2gb compactflash card to drop again. It has been as low as $114 in the past but they now have the price at around $257 and I am just wondering if anyone knows why they keep changing the price! Yesterday the card was at around $257, this morning it was around $130, and just now, only about 6 hours later, it is back up to the $257! They did this with the HX4700 and I was lucky enough to get one of their lower prices but they were bouncing it around to like 4 prices! Does anyone have a clue why they change prices all the time and this change is like 80% higher for the CF card!

The $114 was with a rebate and I would have got it but my goal is to get it for $100 or less and I'm sticking to it.

I was looking to get a 2gb CF card also until I laid my eyes on the 4gb CF card, If that it gets under $200.00 I'm all over it.

Perhaps I should hold out for that. I started with a little 128mb sd card that I paid like $130 for!!! Even if I wait for the 4gb version, in about a year, I'll probably be able to get an 8gb or more for less!

Do you guys use Pricewatch? That is the best place to check Memory prices. In some cases you can forward the competitions cost and have the price matched. I have found that bananapc.com and ecost.com has the best memory prices. In any case please find the link below to get to pricewatch so you can search for the best price.

I have found Buy.com to have great prices but I do check around. eCost's website is down! It says internal server error--that can't be good!

Never checked that one out, I usually use slickdeals or gotapex. I will add pricewatch to my list.
