VGA Applications
Please tell me every application and game you know of that fully supports VGA devices. With my website ( http://www.ppcpathways.com/ ), I have been reviewing a lot of software (and hardware) but almost every software program I have reviewed so far has had a negative that it doesn't fully support VGA. Please tell me what does support VGA! I know of a few but not that many.

I can add Calligrapher and PhatPad to that list. Oh yes, and Battery Pack Pro and Journal Bar (I think...)

Games

Meteor
Acky's xp breakout
Bejeweled 2.4
Moon Child (think it's called that. Freeware)

There's a few more I can't think of right now but add SPB Pocket Plus 2.2 to the apps list. There's a good vga weather panel plugin for today too.

The Tribe - excellent vga screensaver.

That's all I can think of for now.

My expereince with the version of Incormant (listed in the first tag) is that some the icons in the calander (i.e. those alond the top wioth the month < > arrows) are too small and get clipped.

I have been hassling software developers to find out what they are doing regarding VGA. Here are some responses:

Resco. Keyboard works although sometimes you have to open and close the keyboard to get it to open. Picture viewer doesn't work at all but they are aware of the power of the hx4700 used with SE_VGA or ozVGA and are expecting to have a release in a week or so that will support this mode.
Didn't find out about audio recorder (it works properly but as a teeny screen in the top left of the PDA display).

Handmark Monopoly: They are planning a release in the early new year that will support VGA and add a lot of new functionality.

Haven't heard back from MDN for Age of Empires. Empires doesn't work at all in SE_VGA mode as all the buttons are not mapped to the correct screen location.

Sim City 2000 works (its a little squiffy when you first load it but once you get into the main game play it works well).

9 Hole Golf: Works of but you have to turn off the graphics accelerator option to make it work. I don't think that the graphics are true 640*480 yet.

Pocket Breeze seems to work ok too!

PhotoViewer 5.00 doen't work in true VGA mode (i.e. with SE_VGA or ozVGA). My post (above) explains Resco's response to my support request for VGA support.

RaTBaG,

Thanks for pointing out the mistake.

I have checked with SE_VGA and found PictureViewer is not working under Real VGA.

But having said that, even HP ProtectTools is also squashed with VGA.

VGA Keyboard
There's a VGA keyboard on pocket gear:

http://www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=16009

designed specifically for true VGA (SE_VGA, ozVGA), I think I'm going to pick one up because its only 5 bucks and I hate typing on that little keyboard when using real VGA..

Resco
I do a spot of beta testing for resco.

Photo Viewer 5.1 is released and works perfectly on full VGA mode.
Audio Recorder is being tested now. There are a few bugs at the moment but it is looking good. I am guessing that they will release the VGA version in the new year...
