Pairing an ipaq 4700 with a Panasonic X70
Has any one achieved this Bluetooth pairing successfully? I have tried numerous times; although the ipaq sees the mobile phone, and they appear to pair, I cannot use the mobile as a modem in order to get an internet connection (or to do anything else).

Who is your wireless carrier? For some phones you need a modem initialization string in order for your PPC to properly use your phone as a wireless modem. Try calling your carrier to find out.

Also take a peek at our BT Guide found here. There maybe some info that that will answer some questions for you.

My service provider is Vodafone UK, but I do not think that is the problem - I previously paired an ipaq 3870 with the Panasonic X70. I will take a look at your guide.
