ThinkOutside Bluetooth Mouse questions
Hopefully some of you in possession of this A+ gadget can answer a question. The PDF User's Guide for the Stowaway Bluetooth Mouse at ThinkOutside's website points out that the driver installation for the BT Mouse also installs the drivers for the Stowaway BT Keyboard. It further states that you should uninstall any existing Bluetooth keyboard drivers before proceeding.

I already have the official HP Bluetooth Keyboard installed and use it on a regular basis. Should it be possible to install ThinkOutside's drivers and simply disable the keyboard portion, and thereby continue using my HP keyboard?

I'd like to add the BT Mouse to my iPaq arsenal, but not at an actual cost of over $350 (getting rid of the HP keyboard, buying a ThinkOutside mouse AND keyboard).

Thanks for any input you fine folks may have. The autoresponder at ThinkOutside says they're out of the office for 3 days, so my question can't be answered by their Tech Support desk any time soon.

P.S. Has the driver issue with the hx4700 been resolved yet, either?

Well, here's the answer.

No and no for both questions.

For the first one, I have the Stowaway BT keyboard, and borrowed a friends' HP BT keyboard.

The system DID NOT like both installed at all.

The driver issue you mentioned, I'm assuming you are referring to the out of memory issue. No resolution yet...

If you were referring to the vga/mouse issues: yes, the drivers have been updated and the mouse works great with my 4700. I don't use a keyboard so I cannot comment on that.

Can I use the mouse with the standard keyboard from HP?

Best regards

You should be able to use, I think it is 7, devices at the same time with little problems, if any at all, but I'd like someone else to agree with me before you take my advise.
