Better than describing a ppc as a mini-computer, I remember seeing a picture that on one side had a pile of electronics devices and on the other side an early Ipaq. The idea was the Ipaq replaced the others. Maybe a little over stated, but the idea was on the right track.
The little things can replace a lot, even my old Franklin Planner book. But the point is different needs for different folks. Each of us can have our own list, and more important our own priority order of what is important for the tasks expected of the ppc to do.
You are extremely arrogant in taking upon yourself to judge the priority of these tasks/programs for anyone else's list of requirements for their pda purchase. Unless you are going to contribute the funds, keep your comments to suggestions and experience descriptions of helpful info for another -- not to bagger anyone into your narrow view of "how it should be" according to DigitalPC8.
As Blueradish said above, that attitude will be met will various degrees of responses -- unless you are determined to be just trolling -- then there could be a different response from our group.
JMHO... Ron...
PS -- I don't do games much at all.
