Newbie memory question

Just beginging to play & see what I need to buy now.......

What memroy cards are best to get ? Compact Flash or Secure Digital or Multi Media ?

Whats an optimal size?

Any advantages/disadvantages of each?

Any good and not too expensive brands?

I do plan to convert the odd DVD to Memory card but also what programs are best to put on card memory as opposed to internal memory?

Thanks in advance for all your expert answers.

CF are slightly faster and cheaper than SD and are availabnle in larger sizes, however they are larger.

Have a look in MyPDA it shows what I have installed to my SD card and what I have installed to main memory.

I have no problems with a 4GB Hitachi microdrive; it is a little slower than a standard CF but it works well....Wont stand being thrown around the office though, so look after it if you get one
