HyperTerminal or Comparable Emulator
Looking for a solid terminal emulator for the 4700 that's preferably open source/freeware. Any suggestions or recommendations? Came across VxHpc but didn't want to spend the dinero till I ran the inquiry past the forum.

Turned up a hit on the software forum that referenced http://www.cewindows.net/wce/20/telnet.htm for one-stop shopping. But I'd also like to gauge end-user experience and tap this group's knowledge. Hasn't steered me wrong yet.

Little more background info as to why I'm asking -- VT100 is the emulator mode most likely to be used. Target scenario is to connect 4700 device to a Cisco switch/router/mod using serial connection. Call me lazy but if I can connect and capture output via the PocketPC to heck with lugging around a laptop. Besides the prospect of doing so is just too dang cool to boot.

Appreciate any and all feedback.

Salud

Thanks, Phil. Also good to know. Always appreciate free and useful. Allows me to save up for those Bluetooth Headphones!

If anyone else's interested in PocketPutty it can be found here: http://pocketputty.duxy.net/
