BT Headphones and Video = incompatible?
HP's BT headphones are great, work as advertised (for me, at least) for my audio needs. I was anxious to try them while watching a 2hr movie with BetaPlayer thinking this would be the ultimate solution. Unfortunately, I found that the inadequate memory of the hx4700 is not conducive to using the headphones *and* watching video simultaneously. The video suffers from intermittent pauses on a regular basis. :-(

Have others had the same experience? I usually try to keep about 28-30MB of memory free but this doesn't seem to be sufficient. Any ideas?

Very disappointing...

I think it boils down to how you're encoding the video. You can encode the video to a point where the CPU is not sufficient to properly run a smooth video. The higher the bitrate the more the CPU has to work. Combine that with encoding at 640x480 and then you have a very large file the the CPU is trying to work on. Now combine that with BT transmissions and you'll work the CPU to the point where it will start choking.

I have successfully watched a 2hour DiVX movie encoded at QVGA resolution at a bitrate less than 450Kbs and my movie worked very well using my BT headphones.

Thanks, Ted. I'm still a bit new at this, so I will have to investigate the bitrate. But what is the point of encoding movies at QVGA resolution with the capabilities of the 4700? Doesn't it kind of defeat the purpose? Is the quality of QVGA movies comparable to VGA? (As I mentioned, I'm new at this, so pardon my ignorance )
