How do I mute notifications?
I have an hx4700, with Pocket Informant 5.6.1.0178, I can set appointments on the calander (that syncs with Outlook on my desktop), but when I carry the PPC into meetings I want to mute incase an alert activates. I went to the volume control in the task bar and set the "Off" ... but hte alerts still were audiable The "Sounds & Notifications" settings have the Events and Programs / notifications checked. What do I need to do to get the mute button to work?

Thanks for your help.

Just tested this on my unit. To the left of the time in the top right corner is the volume icon. Tap that and choose volume "off". My alarm did not sound with that option chosen.

Really? That is the "Off" button that I tried but doesn't make any differance on mine. I have tested this several times, are there settings I need to check?

The only software that I have that is not factory installed is Spb Pocket Plus, Pocket Informant Pro, and Memaid.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You may want to add the volume mute button from SPB Plus onto your today screen and see if that works. Maybe the SPB mute button overrides the factory setting?????
