Se_vga
I just installed the program and tried it in true vga mode. WTF??? The print is so small that you need a magnifying glass to read it. Is there any workaround to this. I mean, everybody praises running a ppc in true vga mode, but how, when everything is so small?

Most people make adjustments to the default settings for fonts sizes either through registry changes or through options allowed in programs such as Pocket Informant.

There are many threads here and on brighthand's forums. Do a search and you will find the information you need.

There are also more than one program that is used to make "true vga" more usable. Try looking at the free program ozVGA which combines the effect of SE_VGA with font sizing and additional adjustments.

Again, read the existing threads to get the whole picture.

Whether one likes it or not is a matter of everyone's preferences and eyesight, but of course it's gonna be 2x smaller when the resolution doubles.

After enabling true VGA, I set the system font size to largest and the Pocket IE font size to large and I've been happy with that. It's still small and crisp, but legible.

How and where do you change the font sizes?

Start > Settings > System tab > Screen > Text Size tab

Set slider to Largest and, in my opinion, most fonts are large enough to be used on a daily basis.

This setting affects all programs which get their font sizes from the system setting (such as all the preinstalled Microsoft apps). Some programs (such as Pocket Informant) use their own font sizes and must be adjusted separately.

So much for that! The view is great, but I have a few programs that will not work with it properly . Oh well, maybe in the future
