Sounds from computer When cradled.
I just got my PPC (4705) whe i have in the cradle and pluged into the usb port a tiny little electric pulse noise from my computer case happens. when i uncradle the ppc it goes away. odd huh?

System:
amd64 3400+, 1gig ram, all onboard usb, nic, sound

if anyone has an idea what this can be and if there is a fix thank you.

Funny sounds? From the case or from the speakers? I had some issues with ActiveSync and my Audigy drivers. When cradled, I would get horrible crackling from the speakers. Not consistently, though. I have moved to a more generic low-end sound card and have not had the issue at all.

sounds like its coming within the computer not sure where but close to the cpu i think. on a side note the speakers hook to the computer make that sound too a winey sound.

Sounds within the computer case
i know this is the 2nd post but i thought it be better here.

removed usb, cpu, etc etc drivers still happens.

you know the kind of sound when your hard drive is about to go out?
thats some what kind of the sound ""winnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnny"
yes so is the firewire, nic, printer, etc etc

i have tryed the front usb ports too same thing.

Unless there is a problem with the USB port implementation on your your motherboard then I am stumped

(Unless - hopefully not - your hard disk is on its way out )

rob1303: thanks, sorry about this.....buging the heck out of me

i may have ot go to newegg tell them my motherbord is crap with usb.
Asus k8n-e i knew i shounld have never switch mb abit is much better.

going to try and run a VM on my linux box with windows xp and see what happens see if that usb makes that sound on that box if not i guess il have to sync there.
