Installing ActiveSync problem
I installed the 4705 program on one computer and now need to install it on another due to some software issues. However, trying to install it the Install ActiveSync checkbox is grayed out and nothing happens when I attempt to install. Am I doing something wrong (dumb question!)? Do I have to uninstall the other computer to install this one?

Mine was grey from the beginning for no known reason. I just downloaded from Microsoft and installed it from there. You can also probably browse the CD (I don't have mine handy) and find a SETUP program for activesync in some directory and install from there if you don't want to download.

Thanks, I'll try that. One other thng I'm going to try is to go to the first computer and set up a 2 computer partnership to see if that changes anything.

That is what I did on the advice of "Fergusonle" and it works fine, now.
