Got my 4705 last week and today is the first day that I've had my 4705 at work sync'd in the cradle.

It keeps dinging at me every 30 seconds or so like it's trying to tell me of a reminder or alarm but I have no reminders or alarms set. Is it just telling me that it is sync'd? My 2215 didn't do this.

Under SOUNDS and NOTIFICATIONS i have the settings as they came from HP (default) with Events box checked, Programs box checked and Notifications box checked.

Is anyone else having this? It's driving me crazy :-(

I am getting this too..... I know this thread is old, but I just got my 4700. Any ideas?

My settings are all correct but I still get the occasional ding. It seems to do this sometimes when I have it cradled and I change a today screen while cradled. Other than that I'm not sure if I actually did anyting to make the initial dinging stop - it just did. Also if it was dinging I would remove from the cradle, soft reset, and re-cradle.
