Icons on the today screen
is there any way to put icons for programs that I use alot right on the main (today) screen so I dont have to always go thru the start menu? I am new so if its really easy and simple dont laugh too much.

03SP500,

Welcome to this superb website and forum.

The feature you are looking for is not available on standard Pocket PC OS, but in other softwares.

1. Spb Pocket Plus
http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/products/pocketplus/?en

2. Snoopsoft Dashboard
http://www.snoopsoft.com/dashboard/index.html

Good luck.

I use Omega One Battery Pack Pro which also has Program Bar included with it. With this program, you can have as many lines as you like with icons for programs that you frequently use. I have 38 icons set up in Program bar and I can open any program by just tapping the icon. I love it!!!!

Hi and welcome to the site

I use iLauncher2 (there is a link in my MyPDA on the left), as it doesn't take up much room, can be installed to SD card and also allows icons on the bottom bar as well as the today screen

There are a number of free launcher programmes available - such as cLaunch and tdLaunch that you may want to try as well.

A jpg should display with no problems at all?

Looking at the properties on your files (by opening and right clicking) it states that there are errors with the file

i really loved zlauncher 4 d palm. im wondering if theres a similar launcher 4 d PPC?

if none, i would already b satisfied w/ a tabbed launcher w/ apps' icons & names of d software. but i prefer small icons 2 have as many as possible on my today screen.

im currently using spb pocketplus, pocketbreeze, contactbreeze, wisbar adv2 & PHM traylaunch as my today plugins BTW.

Try cLaunch - that has tabs and names

iLauncher has tabs and pop-up names.

I highly recommend ilauncher 2 for its tiny footprint and complete compatibility with 4700, even with ozVGA or se_VGA installed. Some of the others above have issues in true VGA.

One called cLaunch is also very nice, and free. iLauncher2 costs $5 (lol - worth it)

Good luck
