Hangs on ThunderHawk
For ThunderHawk 2.0 30-day trial, is it set so that it will hang every now and then?

Is the subscribed service alot better and smoother?

I just tried and and love it very much but am questioning if it is their server issue or the 30-day trial cap.

If it works smoothly, I plan on ordering 1 yr service...

It depends on what you mean by "every now and then". I use Thunderhawk, MultiIE and Netfront and they will all "hang" once in a while. The trial version is identical to the purchased (rented ?) version. As long as it's a free 30 day trial you might as well wait awhile and see if the "hanging" remains or clears up.

it hangs as in.... the connection (whether wifi or BT from my Nokia 6230 EDGE phone), slows or goes to a crawl.

IE or Netfront is never a problem for me...

Whenever I experience the connection "loss", I will close ThunderHawk and re-open the program. It does this sporadically, say between 3-5 min of surfing, then the connection "hangs"

I have read about a lot of problems with Thunderhawk so I never ventured down that path. I find that with the 4700, that you do not need the service because you get excellent browsing capabilities by viewing IE in 640x480 and set your text size to 'Largest'. My guess is that you will still have problems even after you pay. Manufacturers will want their trial software to run smooth as silk so they can sell the product. If you have problems now, then you will continue having them after subscribing to Thunderhawk.
