Powerpoint clearVue compression issue
fellow ipaqers,

i am trying to carry my school powerpoint presentation on my ipaq for easy review. the problem is they're like 100MB. i can put them on the storage card no problem but my ipaq is too slow to flip through the slides. i adjusted the memory allocation on the today panel and that DID help a little.

THE ISSUE: activesync gives me an option to decrease the resolution to 640*480 but if does that it changes the file extention and clearVue CANNOT read them (if i change the file extensions after manually, it still wouldn't work). in fact, any chance made to the files by active sync would make the file unreadable (to clearVue at least) the only way to view the presentation is if i don't convert the files with active sync, and i would have to put up with waiting 10-20 seconds to view a slide) ANY ONE OUT THERE KNOWS HOW TO DEAL WITH THE PROBLEM WITHOUT BUYING NEW SOFTWARES, cuz this pocket pc stuff is getting to be a $$$ vacuum

Hi Haz, unfortunately I am so far down the whirlpool of that vacuum I can barley see daylight.

I'm sorry, but I really don't know how to resolve this one. -Mike

EDIT, unless you find a way to make the file smaller in it's native PowerPoint on your PC first.
