Volume Text input - Keyboard or handwriting recognition
I am approaching the decision to use my 4705 to input patient record data. I use lots of repetitive text and have seen that both Resco Keyboard and Calligrapher offer repetitive text input options. I have purchased both and was about to experiment, but realized I may save some time if I ask for feedback from the forum. How do you like your system for text (especially phrases) input?

Thanks,
John

Can't speak for Recso, but I'm extremely happy with Calligrapher.

All methods take a bit of learning - there is actually a competition each year to find out the fastest person on each of the input methods, and then the fastest input method.

Have a look - HERE

But basically - it is whichever you want to spend the time learning

Great answer! I am searching away, and have discovered a whole new world of possibilities, not only for PPC, but for desktop touch screen entry options. Thanks for your always great responses!
