I have SPB Plus installed with the battery monitor across the top of my screen(see screenshot in MyPDA). I generally use that for time remaining as opposed to the estimated time. I find the bar to be right on, whether it matches the estimated time or %.

I did not really find yer time remaining on your "my pda" but i do mean time left on the battery... which i called the estimator... because mine is not really giving me the accurate values.

it cant be that at full battery it says 3 hours and now at 30% left it says 2 hours and 48mins.

Yeah, the estimator is extremely hard to see, that's why I like it, doesn't take up any screen space. If you click on one of the pics and enlarge it, you'll see a bunch of little bars across the top. Those bars go down as the battery dies, thereby giving you a visual of how much battery life is left.

I can't explain why the estimated time is not more clearly defined, probably why I just go with the bar indicator. However, I do see the value in knowing how much time is left. I have a few other programs that monitor battery on my 4700, let me see if there is a more acurate one for actual time left.

Nods i was only talking about the time left estimator... that would be nice to know if there is something accurate out there? its not too much of a big deal but i just realised that at full battery it says "3:39" and when there is 30% left its saying "2:48" i dont know which one is accurate...

P.S I use the bar at the top as well.. but its just a percentage... i usually look at time left to say to myself oh yes i gotta charge when it hits below 20% but i have been looking at it keenly and i realised its flawed, since the time left is inacurate.

To answer my own query.

I did a full battery drain... charged it completly.. and it displays i am assuming somewhat accuratly on how much time is left on battery.
