best way of scanning into 4700?
I have a whole bunch of papers that need to be viewed on the 4700. I can scan them using my HP g85 office jet. Thanks.

The easiest would be to scan them as B/W images with the contrast turned up to make the text show more clear, then save them as a low res jpg. This would allow you to view them as images.

You could also take those images and add them to a long html files, if you are familiar with html to do that. Then you would have them all acessible in one long web page.

Assuming you have a PC, how about scanning them via the PC & an OCR package into Word, saving them as Word documents, & then copying the files across to your Ipaq?

I use repligo for portable documents

http://www.cerience.com/products/ppc/google.htm

or a westetek product for pdf

http://www.westtek.com/

Of course you could use pocket word.

I use repligo mostly for large documents of which I may have to print sections or the complete documents to my HP 45owbt on the road.
