When did the HX4700 come out??

Hello all, when did the hx4700 first come out? Were there any problem with the earlier versions? Thanks

Hi nyyankees3511. I believe they came out in late July/ early August of 2004 but were'nt widely available until Sept. 04. You can do a search of the forum for lots of threads with real and percieved issues with the 4700.

swhoutx035 is correct, they really didn't appear in retail until Sept/Oct 04

Due to some delay they came out in the beginning of september 2004. I bought one of the first which has the ROM date sep-02 2004, and got it in my hands the 5th i think...
