I know I should be posting this message to the 63xx forum, but I figured since this forum had the most post and viewers, figured someone/somewhere will read my question and hopefully have a solution for my inquiry. (I’ll be posting this in 63xx forum too)
Anyone of you guys know of an adaptor/device/wire/etc… that you connect from your cell phone-to your fax machine so that you can use your cell phone's dialing capability to send or receive a fax.
A good example is the adaptor/device/wire/etc… used to connect your cellphone to your laptop and use your cell phone’s dialing capability to be used as “your telephone line” or “pseudo-landline” to make a dial-up connection to the web.
Same concept with the “fax question” I had in mind; using your cell phone’s dialing capability to be used as “your telephone” or “pseudo-landline” to send and receive fax.

I know there are “fax programs” out there, but…..
The problem with a “fax program” (like the one that can be found in sites such as Handingo.com) is that they are “just” programs.
It’s not a device or an adaptor that enables you to connect your PPC cell phone to your fax machine.
The programs that are available are very helpful if you “already” have the document “in” your PPC, that’s when you can send that document to a receiving fax by using such program.
The challenge is, what if that document is not in your PPC?
I guess one can scan the document first,
….then transfer the document to your PPC,
….then fax the document from your PPC using such program.
The problem with that…there are too many steps involved (don’t mean to sound finicky, but someone out there or in here’s gotta know something about this subject. Considering how many people congregate on this website.)
Any input is welcomed
