Kudos to Seidio
just a little praise to Siedio and David Chang at Siedio

I ordered and got a G2500 car kit for my ipaq 4700. It turned out the kit was missing a part and the cord for power was bad. I contacted Siedio and they sent me the missing part (lock plate) and When I contacted David from the address he posted here on the forum, he sent back an e-mail stating simply "I'll take care of it" the next morning I had a new cord on my desk. To me thats great service after the sale. Keep it up and thanks again dave.

Do a search for Seidio, they also sell the Kits on E-bay and they are a little cheaper then the web site. I have 2 of them, One for my 2215 and one for the 4705... Love the mount myself...

I am glad to hear that as I have one on order for my 4700. I just hope that I don't have any defects or problems with the mount. As good as a company is for taking care of problems, a company is better if it doesn't have any!

Hi abb1. My Seidio 4700 mount came without any issues. I am very happy with it. I originally use dthe windshield mount but later changed to the vent mount. The windshield mount is very secure, it just looked odd becuase of the shape of the windshield on my Jeep (it's almost at 90 degrees to the dash so it looked like a great arm stretching out at me). Both mount types are included in the kit. I think you will be very pleased.

Thanks, so far I got a GlobalSat BC-307 CF GPS, Destinator3, and the Seidos mount all coming to me within three weeks. I will feel a lot better when it is here as I dont know if I have made the right purchasing decisions.

I got one today and went way over my 1hr lunch break driving around testing it out. Much easier to see Tomtom when the hx4700 is not sliding about on the passenger seat

Just hope I don't have any problems with it as I didn't buy it direct from Seidio so doubt I would get the same sort of turnaround You pays your money, you take your chance I guess.

Do you find the 2215 in the mount is alot louder than the 4705? I've got both as well and the 2215 with the volume in TomTom set to max and the volume on the mount to the max seems about twice as loud as that of the 4705 with the same settings.

I've also gotta say that I'm really happy with my G2500.
Although there is an electrical clicking noise if the battery on my ipaq is low or if I connect my GPS to be charged.

Currently bug fixing with Anthony from Seidio
