HP iPAQ hx4700 and 1GB SD memory Card
Hi All,

Please help ASAP, i am trying to get my iPAQ to sync all my docs with are about +-150MB big to the 1GB SD card how do i do this i have noticed that there is a SD card folder and i can copy all my docs to, but what if i edit a doc on my laptop and sync it with the iPAQ... it doesn't sync the file in the SD Card folder.

Please assist.

Hi Wayne, welcome to the site! By default ActiveSync synchronises the folder that is (optionally) created when you create the AS partnership (usually called <device name> My Documents in the desktop's My Documents folder) with the My Documents folder on the device. You can add / remove files to / from the synchronisation list but I'm afraid that AFAIK there's no straightforward way to change the location on the device (although this is almost certainly possible by modifying the registry).

So, the short answer is put the files on the SD card manually and just put the ones you want to sync that you change frequently in the special device specific My Documents folder.

You can try the following which allows for syncing to different folders on the PDA
