On my PC and Laptop I use a fantastic little program called WordWeb...see link.... http://wordweb.info/free/

I have asked whether this is compatible with a PPC such as the 4700...........it's not, and sadly no plans to make it so .

My question to all you clever folk with IT .........I'm just a humble gardener............can this software be coverted by any of you? [not sure of the ethics with this]

Can anyone recommend a similarly excellent dictionary/thesaurus for the 4700?

I would say that it cannot be done. However, there are a lot of great dictionaries out there for the PPC. I use Lextionary 2.0 myself. It has a Dictionary and thesaurus built in.
