Bluetooth Dialup Problem
So, I connect to the internet through my cell phone via Bluetooth. It connects fine and the Internet works perfectly. However, if I turn off my iPaq without disconnecting, when I turn it back on, it thinks it is still connected and I have to do a soft reset in order to reconnect.

Is there any way to fix this? Thanks.

Welcome to the site! Just curious, why not disconnect before you turn off your PDA?

Thanks!

As far as why I don't disconnect, I've never needed to until recently. Whenever I was done with the internet, I jsut turn off the PDA and it would automatically disconnect. Recently, my PDA started exhibiting the problem that I described. I could manually disconnect, but I'm hoping there is a way that I don't have to, just as a matter of convenience.

i think this is a problem of your cell phone instead of the pocketpc. the phone should be disconnecting when the BT disconnects anyway but good luck

I have found that most of the problems that I have with connecting via bluetooth and my cellphone, is on my cellphone. Many times I have to turn my phone off and then on again just to activate the bluetooth so my 4705 can find it. As far as disconnecting, I try to disconnect before I power off. But sometimes I just shut it off and it disconnects on its own.
