I'm about to purchase either the hx4700 or hx4705 and have noticed they include either the sync cable or cradle, respectively.

Are there any pro's or con's to either? I know the software packages are slightly different but don't think it would matter to me much. The hx4705 is a few bucks cheaper.

Does the charger cradle and sync cable perform the same function?

They both come with charger and cable! The only difference from what I have read is in the software.

Thanks for the reply. I went ahead and ordered the hx4700 from buy.dig and don't really know if a cradle is included. Hopefully I'll have it by about mid-week. Also ordered the Piel Frama case.

Astronomer, there should be a cradle AND a charger in the box with the IPaq - it's all 'part & parcel' of the IPaq.
