Military Time
I am looking for an app or hack that allows my top bar to display time in military time (24 hour time). I have tried T2k2 and adjusting the time in the system app but it only displays a "0" in front of the standard time. Any thoughts?

Edit Military Time
So I narrowed my problem down to Wisbar A 2. Apparently it does not support 24 hour time. I guess I need to contact them to add the option.

PS Is there a reason why while on mobile view I can not find Edit button to edit my previous submissions?

Go to settings of your WisBar Advance, then "Configure My Clock" and in "time" field enter "HH:mm". It should work

Be sure to go to your "Regional Settings", then "Time" and in "Time style" it must say "HH:mm:ss".

sorry ...should have clarified...the case refers to the of the strting representing the time...ie HH:mm or hh:mm... try changing the case of these and see what "fun" it casues (from what I was told if you place MM on it gets all confused...apparantly some one at microsoft likes to play with peoples minds just a little

For anybody stumbling upon this thread like I did...
Here is the answer to the question. Go to Settings>System>Regional Settings>Time, and change time style.

There are multiple options. The following is using 5:34 PM as an example:

h:mm:ss tt = 5:34 PM
hh:mm:ss tt = 05:34 PM
H:mm:ss = 17:34
HH:mm:ss = 17:34

However, I would imagine that the HH:mm:ss would display 9:02 AM as 09:02. So it's the tt at the end that you need to drop to get it to military time. Hope this answers everybody's question.

Mine is set to HH:MM:SS and UK format and it displays 15:34 just fine. I think the American region settings do things differently.

Set the PDA to use UK settings then it will use the 24 hour clock. Insettings. Country/ UK.

Um, folks. Not that hard. You don't need any fancy software, and you don't need to modify which region your'e in.

* go to your control panel on the handheld device.
* Click on "Regional Settings"
* Click on the tab marked "Time"
* Use the drop down, and select "HH:mm:ss" , ... leave the other options as they are. They are rather unimportant for military time.

Points to note:
- 1: In the morning hours, a "0" will precede the numerical sequence if the hour is 9am or earlier. ie: 08:45 (am). This is normal. After noon hours are displayed as: 14:35 (pm), translating to 2:35pm.

Hopefully this will help others in getting their units to dispay military time. Good luck.

Wisbar Advanced 2x *does* support military time. Here is how you do it.

Click on the menu button for WA2, then choose "Settings".
In the upper right corner, click the drop down and choose "Clock Settings".
You should now see three "text" boxes and two check boxes. From here, the top box should read: "Display Standard Clock".
The second box (Time Format) should display: "HH:mm" and yes, this code is case-sensitive. Use capital "H"s.

Overall, having your handheld display in Military Time is basically NO different than getting your desktop computer to show Military Time. The codes for modifying your Time and Date display are also the same.

Hope this helps. Good luck.
