deleting contacts

Hi - I have a 4700 series, sync successfully my Goldmine 6.5 using Companionlink - simple question - how do I delete a contact in my ipaq?

Click and hold on the contact. Select "remove" or "delete" from the pop-up/context meu. Sorry I can be more specific, my pda just stopped working.
