For some reason, I cannot add attachments to my emails when using the default email software called "Messaging"

It's gives me the following error:

"Message attachment cannot be added. Check to make sure the correrct storage card is in the device. If your device stores attachments on a storage card, you must insert a storage card to add any files to messages."

This happens even when the attachment is stored in the RAM

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
