Can you change the font of Today?
Hey guys,

I just got my hx4700 today and love it. I have playing with it and have a question. Is it possible to change the default font of the today plug-in? It uses Tahoma right now I think. I have tweaks2k2 and I can change th system settings for font, but it doesnt change the today font. Is it possible? Am i just missing the way to do it in tweaks 2k2?

Can somebody hjelp me?

I copied Arial over to my 4700 and told Tweaks2K2 to use Arial as the system font and it works great.

Enjoy the 4700 by the way

Yeah, I did the same thing !Just copy whatever font you want from C:/Windows/Fonts to Mobile Device/\Windows\Fonts. Then you use Tweaks2k2 to change the default setting!

But doesnt that change everything BUT the today font? When I sued new Courier (tweaks2k2 added font) i changed all of the settings for my menu and everything, but not for the today font itself. Is there a place in Tweaks2k2 I am missing? Am I going crazy here not being able to see it?

Something I've noticed is that the font on the Today screen seems to be controlled by the theme used on the Today screen. Different themes I've used have different fonts. Also, the theme maker program I use allows you to pick your font and font color when you're developing a theme.

Yes, that's right - I forgot if you're using a .tsk theme then yeah it's going to control the Today screen fonts...and override what Tweaks is doing.

Hi vijay15. Those two products only "manage" the themes, i.e., allow you to choose which theme to display, they don't change them. You will either need to use a theme making application or find a theme that has the font style you want.

OK, old thread I know, but I'm going nuts here?!

Can any of you kind people tell me where the built-in option to change the font from Tahoma to New Courier is?

The missus has been out this morning with my iPaq as GPS device, and has brought it home hard reset ("I didn't touch anything it just went like that" ) and I've set everything back up the way it should be, but I must be going mad, cause I can't find the little box to change the font back to the way it was!

Help!?
