Firefox on PPC, finally!
Well almost, it's actually Minimo (mini Mozilla of course). Download it here:

I'm installing it as we speak and will report with a quick review. Let me know your experiences if you are brave enough to install this early release.

Alright, this release obviously isn't for the faint of heart. It loaded up alright, with some quite unusual behavior. First it moved the start bar to the bottom of the screen, two it looks like it was designed for Qvga. Three, it allowed me to move the screen around where ever I wanted it (like a real Windows window). Fourth, I couldn't get it to shut down without soft resetting.

I think I'll stick to PIE and Netfront for now. LOL

i posted that firefox for the ppc was available SEVERAL MONTHS AGO in the fourms here... you must have missed it. i too tried to install it but got no where with that..so i gave up and decided to wait 6 months till they worked the bugs out of it..personally i like firefox.. its all i use... but thunderhawk is really kool..since it has alot of PPC FEATURES

Cool. I hope they make a PPC Thunderbird too. I dumped outlook a while back, but it would be nice to be able to sync contacts again (but not so nice that I'll ever go back to outlook).
