hi fellow ipaqers,
I have copilot live 5 and i am trying to get it to disply on VGA mode. map mode displays on VGA but not the navigation mode. can these tweak programs make the software display on VGA mode?

Yes they can, but not all programs cooperate. You'll have to load the VGA tweak program and see if your CoPilot will work.

Thank you for the reply, but what is an example of a VGA tweak? i've been looking online for a VGA tweak program but couldn't find something specific. i really appreciate ur help.

The softs generally used are SE_VGA and ozVGA. Search these forums, you should find many threads on these softs. SE_VGA is the simplest to use but also the least flexible.

I run Copilot Live Pocket PC 5 on my 4700, and have no problem with any of the Copilot screens in either normal or landscape mode screens -- they all display just fine for me.

I'm not running any kind of VGA tweak software so you may have some other kind of problem.

You might check for patches on the ALK.com website, I seem to recall installing one.

Copliot runs fine on non vga mode. the problem is running it with vga mode (with oz_vga or SE_vga) running to see more of the map. Does that work for you after the patch?

I didn't see a problem. Unfortunately, I can't go back and recheck it; with my poor eyesight, I had to remove oz_vga or go blind trying to read the fine print.
