well, ozVGA is supposed to do that for you - if you set your font sizes right then when you reset to truVGA or qVGA with ozVGA it will resize the fonts and things should look OK on the today screen etc.
The problem comes more with the other programs you use. You set them up to look good in truVGA, and if you boot up in qVGA it looks horrible or fails altogether, and vice-versa.
Things like font sizes are controlled in many individual application by a settings file, like .ini or similar. You can have one .ini file for truVGA , and another for qVGA.
For example, Pocketbreeze and iLauncher, which are awesome programs for truVGA since they are specifically set up to deal with 640x480 if you want them to.
You can set up ozVGA so that it adjusts the registry and gives you different .ini files depending on whether you are booting up in true VGA or qVGA.
I tried fiddling with this and ended up causing problems - due to my ignorance, not any failing of ozVGA. It can be done. But, since I have practically no reason to switch out of truVGA anymore, I haven't bothered trying to make it work. It is possible though, to have ozVGA look after this for you. That's the main reason it is superior to se_VGA.
Good luck
