i'm that idiot who dropped her 3 week old ipaq a month ago and cracked the screen in 20 places.

well, I sent it to mackcam to get repaired and it finally came back about 3 days ago. It was a long and sometimes frustrating wait but worth it i guess. it looks like it just came out of the box brand new with zero scratches on it. I've installed everything and even got it to sync over bluetooth (that was real hard on one of my computers for some reason, but a breeze at work)

anyways... just thought i'd drop in and say hi. Now that i've got it back i might be asking some questions.

I *was* using a microdrive for extended memory before it broke but that was sooo slow it took forever to just open up my start menu.. I replaced that with a 1bg SDIO card. still don't know if i notice a difference.

thanks... actually, mackcam ended up sending directly to HP to get repaired. it was all that shipping around that took forever. THEN it sat in their shipping dept. for 7 days before they shipped it back to me.

i meant to say that my backordered Innopocket magnum case arrived as well. I had that ordered since before i bought the ipaq. WELL worth the wait. it's a VERY nice and sleek metal case.
