The Windows Media Player application in the HP iPAQ Pocket PC hx4700 series will display videos full-screen only if the videos were created in the VGA format. Videos created in the QVGA format will display as only a fraction of the size of the normal view screen.

The VGA format on the HP iPAQ Pocket PC hx4700 series VGA format supports a 640 x 480-pixel screen size. The QVGA format supports a screen size of 320 x 240 pixels. This display characteristic occurs because Media Player does not support the "stretch option."
