Battery drain issue
Every now and again I'll turn off my Ipaq with about 60% battery left and in the morning I'll go to turn it on and the main battery is dead but the backup battery is fine,is there a combination of software causing the battery drain or a hardware problem ? Its only happened a couple of times otherwise it works great.
My Ipaq currently is loaded with Hp bluetooth nav software and upgraded today screen programs that came with it along with a SD card with my word , excell etc. files stored there.
Has this happened to anybody else?
Sean

im thinking that its not that the glass was half full..then empty... but that it was empty and your meter was saying it was half full... ive seen some quirky behaviour by the battery meter after having added or removed software, or the battery itself..
normally, after R & R of the battery a soft reset is needed to make the meter read correctly sometimes... perhaps your not doing enough soft resets normally to make the meter read correctly.. try doing one every couple days after a full recharge and see if that doesnt fix it... also.. if you dont have usb charging enabled.. and you put your 4700 in its cradle and leave it on... your running on battery power
