Maybe I'm clueless (I am new to the IPAQ world) but, is it possible to connect to my pc on my wireless network and access files, etc? I have a 4700 and can access the internet just fine.

I have this problem too, but the problem isn't listed in ikes excellent thread. it's a problem with the my hx4700 as i can't disable IEEE 802.1xx certification dooda.

You mean it won't stay unchecked? Some people with a similar problem were able to get the setting to 'stick' by using the enter key on the keyboard (instead of just 'OKing' their way out of the settings).

ike, I'll try connecting when I get home but when I go back into the IEEE tab after <entering> the check box is still checked. I'm hoping the ROM upgrade will sort it.
