Bluetooth Headset w/ hx4700
Hi all,

I can't remember where I saw this, but I remember reading something about the hx4700 having something disabled for pairing BT headsets? Maybe I'm crazy, but this would explain why I can't get my Anycom HS-790 headset working.

I just put Skype on my 4700 since more people I know are using it now and thought, wow it sure would be nice to use my BT headset...

So am I going nuts, and it should pair up and work no problem, or if I'm not crazy is there a way to get it working?

Thanks,

I'd never thought of trying this.

Just gave it a shot with my headset and it worked first time.

Once it had paired up I could hear the sound from the 4700 through the bluetooth earpiece.

Also I tried recording through it and my voice was loud and clear on the playback.

Not sure why your one won't work though!

Cisco does your headset bond ok?

I thought it was also worth mentioning that once the headset had paired-up with my 4700, the headset light flashed faster than normal and it made an intermittent beep in the earpiece, but as soon as I pressed the call button on the headset it initiated the bond and everything worked like it should.
